Substitutes are available to represent members who are not able to attend a meeting for any reason.

As a member, if you know that you are not going to able to attend a meeting, you should arrange as soon as possible for a substitute to attend in your place. Remember that everyone can gain from the attendance of a substitute:

• You benefit as the sustitute will present your sales message for you in your "one minute slot".
• The substitute benefits by having the opportunity to network with members of a different chapter.
• The other members benefit by having the opportunity to network with the substitute.

When you have appointed a substitute, don't forget to send them your sales message well in advance of the meeting.
